Grants to pay sheriff's office overtime for driver enforcement activities

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office has been awarded up to $3,000 for deputy sheriffs to work DWI/Impaired Driver Enforcement activities. They also receive up to another $2,000 for Hazardous Driving (careless and imprudent, speeding, child restraint violations and other dangerous driving) violations on highways in Livingston County.  According to a release from the Livingston County Sheriff's Office,  the grants pay overtime for deputy sheriffs to conduct enforcement activities between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019.
