Fatal tractor accident leaves man dead

A Chillicothe man is dead following a one vehicle accident 10 miles southwest of Chillicothe on Livingston County Road 451.   According to a Missouri  Highway Patrol report,  43-year-old Mark Burton of Chillicothe was westbound on a private drive when his John Deere tractor crossed the county road and struck a ditch, ejecting Burton who was then run over by his tractor.  Burton was transported to Hedrick Medical Center by Chillicothe EMS where he was pronounced dead. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Chillicothe EMS.
