Donuts with Dad was a success at South Nodaway

South Nodaway Board of Education met in regular session earlier this week. Prior to the meeting the school held a Donuts with Dad event before school. South Nodaway Superintendent Johnnie Silkett says the event was a success.

"We had the kids know, plenty of advance, to bring their dads in.  We had a chance to sit down and drink juice and eat donuts with their dads.  So we had about half of the gym full of our students with their dads.  It was really cool.  We're going to do the same thing with the moms in the spring.  It's just a chance to have a positive moment with their kids.  For some of the kids it was really awesome."

The South Nodaway school district plans to host a Donuts with Mom event in Spring 2019.
