Beef Quality Training for certification provided in early November

A University Extension Veterinarian will provide training on beef quality assurance in early November. Dr. Craig Payne will help train beef producers in the region to become Beef Quality Assurance certified. Livestock Field Specialist Jim Humphrey says the Beef quality assurance program is required for several producers  beginning in January.

The training will be held on Monday, November 5th at the Andrew County Youth Building at the Andrew County Fair Grounds. Humphrey says the meeting is open to anyone but reservations for the meeting are required.
