Another man's life claimed by vehicular accident

A one vehicle accident claimed the life of a Stewartsville man Saturday morning.   According to a Missouri  Highway Patrol report, a van driven by 55-year-old Bryan Chandler was eastbound on US Route 36, one mile east of Stewartsville, went off the north side of the roadway and struck an embankment becoming airborne and overturning multiple times before coming to a rest on the median. Chandler was not wearing a safety device and was pronounced dead at the scene.   The accident was assisted by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
