Lightning killed a 35-year-old Maryville man fishing at the City Reservoir earlier today. According to a report from Maryville Public Safety...officers responded to a 9-1-1 call around 12:30 this afternoon at the City Reservoir where Ryen-L-Browning was found dead. Their investigation revealed Browning had been struck by lightning while fishing from the bank. Maryville Public Safety was assisted in the investigation by the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office and the Nodaway County Coroner.
