Jefferson C-123 meets about co-op with South Nodaway

The Jefferson C-123 School Board met in regular season earlier this week. Items on the agenda included approval of the tax rate and permanent budget for the upcoming school year.

Superintendent Tim Jermain noted there was also a community meeting on Monday.

"With the community meeting, we discussed our ongoing cooperative sponsorship relationship with South Nodaway for all of our activities. We currently are co-oping with South Nodaway for all activities except varsity basketball. So we discussed where we've been and if we have the need to co-op for varsity basketball moving forward, and we just received input from the community."
