A Chillicothe, Missouri man and a Bosworth, Missouri man are dead after a two vehicle accident in Livingston County last night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Nicholas Lawson of Chillicothe was northbound on U.S. Route 65, four miles south of Chillicothe at 6:53 p-m. That's when his truck crossed the center line and struck the car of 49-year-old Orville Cooper of Bosworth head on. Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene. Lawson was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center of Chillicothe where he was pronounced dead. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, and the Chillicothe Police Department.
