Another fatality on the highway

A Stewartsville, Missouri man is dead after a two vehicle accident in DeKalb County last night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 71-year-old William Cornelius of Stewartsville was westbound on an ATV on Missouri Highway 6, three miles south of Clarksdale at approximately 7:01 p-m. That's when a car driven by 24-year-old Mark Ramsey of St. Joseph ran into the rear of Cornelius' ATV and caused him to be ejected. Both vehicles then travelled off the north side of the roadway. Cornelius was transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph where he was pronounced dead. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department.
