Pony Express Museum hosts annual day camp in July

The Pony Express Museum in St. Joseph, Mo. is hosting its annual day camp this July.

For two weeks, students entering the first through fifth grades will get a chance to experience the Pony Express Museum in an in-depth, hands-on fashion. Museum executive director Cindy Daffron says both weeks will feature plenty of fun activities for the campers.

Daffron says the museum expanded the day camp to two weeks as of last year due to an influx of campers. She says each week is going to be capped at around 60 campers.

Pre-registration is required by July 6 and can be done by contacting Daffron at 816-279-5059. The Pony Express Day Camp is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 9-12 and July 16-19.
