Assistant Professor of History at Northwest Dr. Elyssa Ford recently presented at the National Conference on Public History in Las Vegas. Dr. Ford was part of a group presenting a paper titled "Disrupting Institutional Power: Imagining a Regional Model for Public History Education."
The goal was to produce a journal article or white paper providing guidance to fledgeling academic and community programs with the same goal in mind. Ford participated in two workshops relevant to her work on-campus, one focused on changes in the National Register process, and another about digital projects.
Ford is in her first year of a three-year term on the NCPH Development Committee.
