Maryville Parks and Recreation Director Aaron Dobson gave his annual budget report to the Maryville City Council during last night's meeting. Dobson says his budget is in good shape going into the summer.
The Maryville City Council last night also approved a contract with Snyder and Associates Engineers and Planners for engineering services with the Sanitary Sewer Conversion Project and South Market Waterline Replacement Project.
The Maryville Public Library Parking Lot will also see improvements following action by the Maryville City Council last night. City Manager Greg McDanel says the Council approved a request by the Public Library Board to help improve conditions of their parking lot and alley next to the Library.
McDanel anticipates the project to get started in the next 30 to 45 days.
