The Maryville City Council approved a community housing study during last night's meeting. City Manager Greg McDanel says the study will identify and validate market gaps in Mayville's housing.
McDanel adds two similar studies have been done in Maryville in the past.
RDG Planning and Design was awarded the contract to complete the study at a cost of $27,500. McDanels says $17,000 of the project will be paid through investments from the Maryville Industrial Development Corporation and Nodaway County Economic Development.
