Northwest Board of Regents meeting recap

The Northwest Missouri State Board of Regents met in regular session last Friday, and the main agenda items concerned rising fee structures for the university.

Vice President of Finance Stacy Carrick says the board looked at two agenda items based on fees, and the first had to do with the miscellaneous fee schedule.

For the second item, Carrick says the board was tasked with accepting the Student Senate's suggestions for raising designated fees. The fee raises concerned three programs: SafeRides, student employment, and technology.

The board accepted all fee increases for the 2018-2019 school year. The board also approved the degrees for those participating in the commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday and approved the summer faculty list.
