North Nodaway R-VI Board of Education meeting report

North Nodaway's Board of Education met in regular session this week.

At the top of the meeting, the board reorganized to welcome new board member Cari Cline and express gratitude towards outgoing board member Melody Bix.

During the meeting, the biggest item was the Kids Care program. Superintendent James Simmelink says Kids Care makes sure students are cared for after school. Simmelink says the board decided to reauthorize the program with one change.

The board also approved the Senior Class of 2018 for graduation.
