Albany's Hundley-Whaley Research Center names new superintendent

The Hundley-Whaley Research Center in Albany, Mo. has named a new superintendent. Jennifer Miller, a research specialist from King City, will take over from Bruce Burdick, who served as superintendent from 2003 until December 2017. Miller says one of her priorities as superintendent is to get out in the community.

Miller grew up in a family of row crop and timber farmers. After earning a business degree at DeVry University in Kansas City, she attended Northwest Missouri State University for a master's degree in agriculture. She joined the Hundley-Whaley Research Center in 2014 as a research specialist. Miller says that as part of the research the center conducts, she would like to focus on niche products as well as row crops like corn and soybeans.

The Hundley-Whaley Research Center will host a twilight tour from 5 to 7 p.m. August 28. For more information, visit hundley-whaley.missouri.edu
