2 South Nodaway FFA members receive awards

South Nodaway Future Farmers of America member Brooklynn Bennett received a Missouri Agribusiness Academy certificate during the 90th Missouri FFA Convention April 19-20 in Columbia, Mo. This summer Bennett will attend the academy sponsored by the Missouri Department of Agriculture.

Dustin Conover of Maryville received the second place Missouri FFA Fiber and/or Oil Crop Production Proficiency Award at the convention. Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Conover is a member of the Northwest Technical School FFA Chapter.
