St. Joseph volunteer youth organization honored

A St. Joseph youth organization recieved a prestigious honor yesterday.

The Youth Volunteer Corps of St. Joseph was named a Gold Level YVC Affiliate. The St. Joseph affiliate was one of 15 YVC programs in the U.S. and Canada to recieve the honor. Their youth service program, hosted by the St. Joseph Youth Alliance, provides volunteer projects for youth ages 11 to 18.

Last year, 88 youth served 2,363 volunteer hours through YVC of St. Joseph. For more information visit YVCStJoseph.org
