Rare book appraiser speaks at Belt Branch of Rolling Hills Library

A rare book expert will be on hand to appraise books, documents and letters at Rolling Hills Library this weekend.

Hans Bremer will be in the Community Room at the Belt Branch of the Rolling Hills Library to talk about what makes a book rare and collectible and to appraise books people in the community might have. Bremer is the manager of Books Revisited, a used bookstore affiliated with Friends of the Library.

Bremer says he will give some tips on book collecting at the event and says there is a lot that goes into knowing the value of an item.

The event is set for 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday in the Community Room at the Belt Branch of Rolling Hills Library at 1904 North Belt in St. Joseph.
