Nodaway County flu cases might have peaked for season

This flu season has been one of the worst in recent years, but, at least in Nodaway County, the numbers have started to slow down.

Nodaway County Health Department Nursing Supervisor Tabitha Frank says the county's flu numbers look to have reached the peak, but the numbers can be misleading.

Frank says it's possible for the county to reach another peak, so residents should stay on their guard.

Frank says the precautions don't change, even at this point in the flu season. It's not too late to get a flu shot, and it's still important to wash your hands frequently. Frank also says that if you are sick, do not go to work.
