MoDOT to conduct under-bridge inspections in northwest Missouri

In-depth under-bridge inspections take place throughout the year by crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation's Central Office, and those crews are scheduled to inspect several bridges in the area in the coming weeks.

During the week of March 5, crews will inspect three bridges in the KXCV-KRNW listening area in Missouri. In Carroll County, crews will inspect the Grand River Bridge on Route M. For the inspection, one lane will be closed. In Mercer County, crews will inspect the Weldon Fork Bridge on US Route 136. The inspection will close a shoulder. In Nodaway County, crews will inspect the Platte River Bridge on Route VV. One lane will be closed for the inspection.

During these under-bridge inspections, the work zones may be moving operations, and motorists are advised to be alert for work zone signs and extra equipment on the roadways around these bridges and ramps. All work is weather permitting and subject to being rescheduled.
