MoDOT bridge maintenance project to close 280th Street at Route 111

A bridge maintenance project will close 280th Street at Route 111 in Atchison County, Missouri this week for routine maintenance work.

One lane of Route 111 will also be closed at 280th Street for the staging of equipment. Motorists on Route 111 will need to yield to oncoming traffic while the lane closure is in place.

The full closure of 280th Street and the lane closure of Route 111 will begin today and run through this Friday. All work will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Both routes will be reopened to two-way traffic each afternoon, but during the closures, motorists will need to find alternate routes.
