Maryville Public Safety investigates Northwest student death

Maryville Public Safety is investigating the death of a Northwest Missouri State University student.

According to University President Dr. John Jasinski the student has been identified as Julieann Freeman, of Liberty, Mo. According to Jasinski, Freeman was found dead this morning at her residence off campus.

Freeman was a sophomore computer science major and was a teaching assistant in the School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and a technology support assistant in the Office of Information Technology.

No foul play is suspected in her death.
