Maryville City Council meets this evening

The Maryville City Council meets in regular session tonight.

The meeting will begin with public hearings regarding revenue bonds for Kawasaki, annexation of property owned by the City, and annexation of property owned by Jason Brown and Roxann Powell. The city will also take into consideration an ordinance regarding the revenue bonds as part of a plan for an industrial development project during the meeting.

Other ordinances set to be discussed and approved include a contract with the Ray Lindsey Company for the purchase of Trojan UV bulbs for the Maryville Wastewater Treatment Plant and an acknowledgment of a petition to annex land owned by the Maryville Industrial Development Corporation.

The board will also hear a request to re-appoint members of the tourism comittee and is set to approve the liquor license for Title Town Bar and Grill, formerly known as Dogtown Bar and Grill.

The meeting gets underway at 7 p.m. tonight in the City Council Chambers, 415 N. Market Street. The hearings will open the agenda.
