Groundhog sees shadow! Predicts 6 more weeks of winter.

This morning, the famous groundhog in Pennsylvania saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter for the United States.

According to the National Weather Service, Punxsutawney Phil isn't terribly accurate for the Midwest, but the 6-10 day outlook shows a high potential for lower than normal temperatures and the possibility for snowfall. Meterologist Chris Gitro says the month of February tends to be a more active month for winter weather. Gitro says this weekend will be warmer, however.
