4th Circuit Judge Prokes says he will run again this fall

Fourth Judicial Circuit Judge Roger Prokes recently announced his intention to run for the position again in November.

Prokes has served in that capacity since 2001. When his wife moved to Kansas City to be with their grandchildren in 2013, he announced his plans to retire at the end of the current term.

Now, however, Prokes says he's changed his mind because he isn't finished working for the people of the Fourth Circuit. Prokes says he loves the job because he gets to help people.

As Presiding Judge of the Fourth Circuit, Prokes serves the citizens of Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway, and Worth Counties in northwestern Missouri.
