Union Star Methodist Church sponsors chili & soup supper

Union Star High School will play host to a chili and soup supper fundraiser this Saturday night for a local girl battling cancer. The Union Star United Methodist Church is sponsoring the event raising money for Maddie Fox.

Fox, a two-year-old from Union Star, was diagnosed with leukemia in December.

There will be a free-will donation, with all of the proceeds going to the Fox family. Union Star UMC Pastor Bob Caldwell says there will be a variety soups and chili. Dessert will be served as well. The Chili and Soup Benefit supper takes place Saturday, Jan. 27 from 5-8 p.m.
