State Rep. Allen Andrews co-sponsors bill to curb human-trafficking in Missouri

Despite the chaos in the Governor's mansion, the Missouri House of Representatives has been busy in its first legislative session of 2018.

First District Representative Allen Andrews, a Republican from Grant City, says he co-sponsored a bill to help curb the problem of human trafficking within the borders of the state of Missouri. Andrews says he was proud to co-sponsor the bill on the House floor. He says Missouri needs to take ownership of the problem in order to adequately fix it.

The bill swept through the House with bipartisan support, 139-5. It now heads to the Missouri Senate.
