St. Joseph's Health Department conducts community assessment

The City of St. Joseph Health Department is conducting a community health assessment.

The survey has been sent out online around Buchanan County. City of St. Joseph Health Department Health Educator Nancy King says the survey is open to anyone 18 or older around the county.

King says the survey will be used to influence the direction of health education, health and prevention services, and programs made available through the health department and its community partners.

The survey is currently available online through SurveyMonkey and the City of St. Joseph's website, stjoemo.info. Printed copies of the survey are available at the City of St. Joseph Health Department, 904 South Tenth Street.

Department officials will also be at various spots in the community to conduct the survey. More information on those appearances can be found on the City of St. Joseph Health Department's Facebook page.
