Pony Express Musuem holds "Tuesday Night Talks"

The Pony Express Museum in St. Joseph, Mo. has begun its 19th year of Tuesday Night Talks.

The first talk of the year was this past Tuesday, Jan. 16, as Clyde Weeks presented a program called Robidoux Row, talking about the founder of St. Joseph. St. Joseph Visitors Bureau Communications Director Beth Conway says the Tuesday Night Talks are rather popular at the museum and that the talks - and themes - are different each year.

Topics have included Woodrow Wilson's 'Peace Without Victory' speech, Native American tribes along the Pony Express trail, and Katherine Davis' musical roots in St. Joseph. The talks happen every Tuesday through February 28. The program starts at 7 p.m., with the doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

For more information, contact the Pony Express museum at 816-279-5059 or by visiting the Museum at 914 Penn Street in St. Joseph.
