Several Capitol Improvement projects on the Northwest Missouri State University campus were approved during the school's Board of Regents meeting Friday morning. Projects include a $1.5 million dollar electrical upgrade to the Fine Arts Building; a $1.3 million window replacement project at Colden Hall; a $5 million Franken Hall renovation project; and, a $1.5 million restroom renovation project at Perrin Hall.
Vice-President of Finance Stacy Carrick says the projects will be paid for with money provided by the state specifically ear-marked for needed physical improvements. The work will be managed by Northwest's Department of Auxiliary Services. That department is funded by student housing contracts.
