Northwest Missouri State University has announced funeral arrangements for Morgan McCoy, a 19-year-old elementary education major who died in an accident at The Palms bar in Maryville Sunday morning.
According to the release, McCoy's family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo, Kan. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Flint Hills Bible Church in Emporia, Kan.
Memorial services will take place Sunday, Jan. 14 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 North 291 Highway in Liberty, Mo. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., and the funeral service will start at 3 p.m.
McCoy, a sophomore, was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority and a student employee in the School of Education.
