New Nodaway Humane Society bounces back from closing due to shelter pet illnesses

As the New Nodaway Humane Society rebounds from a sudden closing due to illnesses, the shelter is also looking forward to a few potential adoption events. Shelter manager Wendy Combs says she is still planning the spring calendar, but there are a few possibilities on the horizon.

During the adoption process, Combs says it's important to look for compatibility between the pets and potential owners. Combs hopes to reopen the shelter in early February.
