Missouri Gov. Greitens makes 2 appointments from Northwest Missouri
Two northwest Missourians have been appointed to state governing bodies by Governor Eric Greitens.
On Thursday, the Missouri Senate approved Greitens' appointment of Terry L. Ecker of Elmo to the State Highways and Transportation Commission. This will be Ecker's first term as part of the commission. Additionally, Jennifer L. Schoonover of Smithville was reappointed to the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board. The Senate approved the reappointment Thursday.
Dan Hegeman, Republican Senator for the 12th District from Cosby, said in a release from his office that he was proud to sponsor the appointees' confirmation on the floor of the Senate.
