A Maryville man has been charged with crashing his vehicle into a Maryville bar early Sunday morning and killing a Northwest Missouri State University student.
Nodaway County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rice says he's charged 21-year-old Alex Allen Catterson with first degree involuntary manslaughter in the death of 19-year-old Morgan McCoy of Liberty, Mo.
McCoy was hit around 12:40 Sunday morning while walking out of The Palms and was pronounced dead at SSM St. Francis Hospital.
Catterson was scheduled to appear in court this morning at 8:30 in front of Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court Judge Doug Thomson.
