Maryville City Council approves Kawasaki bonds

The Maryville City Council last night approved a request from Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing to issue City Revenue Bonds to fund an improvement project at the local facility. That's according to Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel. McDanel says the City and Kawasaki recently successfully completed a similar revenue bond program with Kawasaki.

The Maryville City Council also last night approved taking part in the 2018 Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday to apply to local sales taxes between April 19 and 25. Appliances sold in the community meeting the state's Energy Saving criteria will be exempt from sales tax during that period.
