City Manager states taste of Maryville's water should improve in 4 to 6 weeks

The Maryville City Council continues to address problems associated with the taste of the community's water supply.

The council met with representatives of People Service, Inc. and City Manager Greg McDanel says the council approved a plan that should help alleviate a problem with algae growth in the city's water source at Mozingo Lake.

McDanel adds residents should notice an improvement in the taste of Maryville's water in the next four to six weeks.
