For the seventh time since 2017, a Northwest Missouri State student-athlete is among the top 50 players in small college basketball.

Wes Dreamer was named to the Bevo Francis Top-50 Watch List by Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee.

The Bevo Francis Award is presented annually to a men's basketball player with the finest overall season among players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA.

Dreamer's stellar season includes 18.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, both in the top five in the MIAA this season. The Alvo, NE product is also shooting 50.2-percent from the field and 41-percent from three-point range.

He joins the likes of Diego Bernard, Trevor Hudgins, Ryan Hawkins, Joey Witthus and Justin Pitts as Bearcats that have reached the Bevo Francis Award Top-50 Watch List. Pitts won the award in 2017, followed by Hudgins earning it in 2022.

The list will be cut down to the top 25 on March 15.
