Northwest unveils 2023 football schedule

Northwest Missouri State football officially released its 2023 schedule Thursday afternoon.

The Bearcats are set to play an 11-game regular season slate that will include Lincoln. The Blue Tiger athletic department announced in January that they're leaving the MIAA. Because of that, it will be a non-conference game in Week 4.

Opening night for the Bearcats will be August 31st in Joplin against Missouri Southern.

The home opener is set for Thursday, September 7th against Emporia State. Homecoming will be October 21st against Pittsburg State.
