Northwest Missouri State University has announced Doctor Justin Mallett as Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion. Mallet has been charged with leading Northwest's efforts to create a diverse, equitable, inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
Mallett earned an Educational Doctorate in educational leadership at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, as well as a master's degree in communication and a bachelor's degree in communication, with emphasis on public relations from University of Wisconsin-Stevens-Point.
Dr. Mallett has 13 years experience in higher education, with 7 years in diversity roles. Mallett has worked as director of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's American Intercultural Center and Director of Diversity and Multicultural affairs at Illinois College. He joined the Northwest Staff in 2017.
