Wanted man arrested after attempted burglary in Chillicothe

Late Saturday evening Chillicothe police officers were dispatched to a report of a resident seeing an unidentified male walking out of a garage in the 200 block of Samuel Street.

The male initially provided false information of his identity to officers, but was later identified as Shaun Sese. Sese was found with a controlled substance and had a warrant out for his arrest for burglary and probation violation. Sese was placed in handcuffs behind his back, and as officers were escorting him to the patrol vehicle, he broke free and took off running. After a short foot chase, the suspect was captured. Sese is being held on the Jackson County Warrants and local charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, attempted escape from custody, and false impersonation.

The Livingston County Sheriff's department assisted the Chillicothe Police Department in the investigation.
