Route 59 in Tarkio will be worked on today

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will resurface Route 59 in Tarkio between Park and Chestnut Streets beginning today.  Crews will close one lane of Route 59 to lay down a new road surface each day.  Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the work zone.  Side streets between Park and Chestnut will not be able to access Route 59 during this time.
