Chillicothe Police officers responded Wednesday to a single vehicle accident on US Highway 36 at Blackwell Creek, one mile east of Chillicothe.
Niles, Michigan resident Lora Thompson, was traveling westbound on US 36 and lost control of the vehicle after hydroplaning on the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a guardrail causing the vehicle to overturn.
Thompson was transported by Chillicothe EMS to Hendrick Medical Center with serious injuries.
