The Maryville Board of Education met earlier this week. Superintendent Becky Albrecht says the board discussed approving the fiscal year 2019-2020 budget and also discussed pay raises.
"We did some things that we needed to do to close out the budget year. And then we approved the budget for FY19 which is next fiscal year. By law we have to have that done by June 30th, so we approved the budget. We approved salary, schedules, and things of that nature for next year."
The board also heard fuel bids, announced the coaches for the 2019-2020 school year, accepted resignations and approved teacher re-assignments. The next board of education meeting will be on July 17th
