Male suspect arrested on drug charges

Deputies responded to a domestic violence call Friday morning in the Tri-C area of the county. 

During the course of the investigation, two deputies and a detective took a male suspect into custody who was a convicted felon and who was in possession of a firearm.  A search warrant was issued for a storage locker used by the suspect this afternoon.  Deputies recovered approximately 5  pounds of marijuana.  Of this, 60 one-ounce bags were packaged individually.  A set of digital scales was seized with the marijuana. 

This case will be forwarded to Prosecuting Attorney Rice for consideration of criminal charges.
