KXCV/KRNW manager passes away from health complications

KXCV/KRNW station manager Rodney Harris died Friday evening from health complications. 

Harris was named general manager of KXCV/KRNW in 2008.  Prior to his time at KXCV/KRNW, he was station manager of KAAN AM/FM in Bethany, Missouri and KMRN-AM and KKWK-FM in Cameron, Missouri and spent over 40 years in the radio industry.  '

An Albany, Missouri native, Harris graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting.  Among Harris's accomplishment's were the recent studio upgrades to the radio station located in Wells Hall which Northwest is set to celebrate next month.  Harris was also active in numerous community events both in Albany as well as the Northwest campus.
