Kansas City Power and Light's Greater Missouri Operations Company has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission to adjust the Demand Side Investment Mechanism charge on customer bills.
This charge will appear as a separate line on customer bills. Residential customers using 1,000 Killowatt an hour of electricity a month will see the charge increase by approximately $3.68 a month, effective August 1.
KCP&L's Greater Missouri Operations Company provides electirc services in the Missouri counties of Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Worth. Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than July 5.
