Eric Reeter appointed as interim Fire Chief for the Chillicothe Fire Department

The Chillicothe City Council voted on Monday to appoint Eric Reeter as interim Fire Chief for the Chillicothe Fire Department.

Reeter will succeed Fire Chief Darrell Wright, who took an extended leave of absence. This appointment allows the Fire Department to act efficiently until Chief Wright returns.

Chillicothe Mayor Theresa Kelly announced the appointment Tuesday, stating that Chief Wright has been outstanding in his service as Fire Chief, and that Chief Reeter has the experience and training to perform the position's duties professionally.
