The final Saturday Concert in the Park in Maryville is coming up tomorrow night. The Concerts in Park series is organized by the Maryville Parks and Recreation Department. Parks Director Jeff Stubblefield says he's pleased with the response to this year's concerts.
"After the first one is a little wet, soggy conditions had to move it inside, but last week with Lyin' Eyes, the Eagles tribute band. Attendance was very well and it was a beautiful night. You couldn't have asked for a better night out in the park. We estimated there was over 700 people there in the park enjoying the concert. Looking forward to another big weekend this weekend with Elton Dan, an Elton John impersonator, coming to town."
The Elton Dan concert gets underway tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Donaldson-Westside Park Amphiteather in Maryville.
