Chip & Seal project on I-35 to begin

A chip and seal project on Interstate 35 will begin this week from the Iowa stateline to Eagleville.

Contractors from Hersog Contracting and the Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin work today starting with the southbound driving lane a 4 miles of the northbound driving lane with the closure of south and northbound ramps on I-35 at U.S. Route 69, Route N, and the entrance to Eagleville Missouri Welcome Center. Tomorrow they are scheduled to complete the northbound driving lane and 4 miles of the southbound passing lane. Then finishing on Friday with the rest of the south and northbound passing lane.

The project will include overnight lane closure. All scheduled work is weather permitting and subject to change.
